Stack the lidded boxes with the largest on the bottom, and the smallest on the top. Center each box on the box beneath it. With a pencil, lightly mark the placement of each box.

Remove the lids from the medium and large boxes. Using the placement markings as a guide, draw a circle on each lid 2 inches smaller than the markings. Using scissors or a craft knife cut out the circles.

Turn the medium box upside down and using the circle cut out from the medium lid, trace an identical circle on the bottom of the box. Cut out the circle.

Turn the small box upside down and draw a circle leaving a 2-inch rim along the edge of the box. Cut out the circle. Draw a rectangle on the lid of the small box, big enough for a large sized wedding card to fit through.

Glue the lids onto the boxes. Stack the boxes with the largest on the bottom and the smallest on top. Glue the boxes together using craft glue or a hot glue gun. Allow sufficient time for the glue to dry before proceeding.

Apply glue in a thin, even layer to the top of the box. Find the center of the material and place it over the top of the box. Smooth out any wrinkles, air bubbles or glue lumps with your hands. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly before proceeding. It is important for the material to be firmly attached to the top of the box, otherwise the material will pull out of place when you work on the rest of the box.

Apply glue to the sides of the small box and pull the fabric tauntly over the sides. Continue working down the box tower, gluing the material on one section at a time. Make sure the material is taunt and smooth before continuing to the next level. Smooth out any wrinkles, air bubbles or glue lumps as you go.

Turn the stacked boxes upside down and pull any remaining material across the bottom of the largest box. If there is an abundance of material, cut off the excess leaving only enough to securely glue the edges to the bottom of the box.

Locate the rectangle cut out on the top of the box. Cut out a rectangle in the fabric over the rectangle in the lid to make an opening wide enough for cards to be dropped through.

Glue the string pearls to the outer rim of each box and on each layer where the box meets the box below it.

Decorate the cake box by adding silk flowers matching the bride's bouquet or bridal party flowers. Place a couple of flowers on each level of the cake. You can also string additional pearls on the layers in a design.
