Last month saw another long-awaited leap day come and go and according to a survey carried out by Sandals Resorts, one in three women would propose to their boyfriends and one third of couples would choose the Caribbean for their destination weddings.

Recent research carried out by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism has revealed that more guests are happy to accept invitations for exotic weddings abroad and they consider them to be better value for money than traditional weddings at home.
